West of Alàgni, at the “Tiganìtis” there are found the remains of a grape press “whose wall consists of peripherally placed stones, larger in the interior and smaller in the exterior parts”. (Manolioudis, 2014, Dionysus). This exceptional layout is also found in the grape presses of the northern foothills of Psiloritis (Kályvos, Zonianá). A grape press to the west of Alàgni, with a floor of marl limestone and large cornerstones all around, testifies to the existence of viniculture. There are also the remains of a rock carved collection basin and a stone press. Three hundred meters to the west, on the hill of Prassà, the remains of yet another grape press can be found.
